At Vibrant Minds Charter School, we believe the arts are core to a well-rounded education. Every TK-6 scholar explores, creates, and performs through the arts, building creativity, confidence, collaboration, and critical thinking along the way. Scholars receive weekly visual arts and music instruction from credentialed educators, taught to California Arts Standards. They also explore other subjects through art in hands-on Project Based Learning. Our goal is to help every scholar discover their interests, develop their talents, and grow into creative, confident learners.

Vibrant Minds Productions
Vibrant Minds Productions is our student media and production program. Scholars build skills in photography, videography, graphic design, journalism, and multimedia storytelling while creating real content that highlights the people, events, and programs that make our school community unique. Working as creative teams on real projects with a real audience, students build communication, leadership, and technical skills that carry into future academic and creative pursuits.
Vibrant Minds Apprenticeship Program
The Vibrant Minds Apprenticeship Program (VMAP) connects scholars with working professionals through mentorship, workplace experiences, and firsthand career conversations. For 2026–2027, VMAP is focused on arts-related careers, from visual artists and musicians to designers, filmmakers, and performers, letting scholars see firsthand how their interests and talents can grow into a future career.
Community Partnerships
We believe some of the best learning happens when scholars have the opportunity to connect with people and organizations beyond the classroom. Through partnerships with artists, arts organizations, universities, businesses, and community members, our scholars experience the arts in meaningful ways while seeing how creativity is used in the real world.
Our school is grateful to work with partners like these, along with many local artists and community organizations, who provide workshops, performances, mentorships, field experiences, and other hands-on opportunities that help bring learning to life.
Each year, we continue looking for new ways to connect our scholars with the community. Whether through the arts, higher education, or local businesses, we believe these experiences help scholars discover new interests, build confidence, and better understand the opportunities that exist beyond school. We look forward to growing these partnerships and creating even more meaningful experiences for every scholar.
Showcase & Authentic Audiences
At Vibrant Minds Charter School, we believe learning has greater purpose when scholars have the opportunity to share their work with real audiences. Throughout the year, scholars present, perform, create, and collaborate in ways that allow their learning to be seen and experienced by families, community members, industry partners, and organizations beyond the classroom.
Bravo Assembly
One of our signature events is the Bravo Assembly, the culminating celebration of Pacific Symphony’s Class Act program. Every TK-6 classroom shares its learning through a performance, presentation, or visual display for families and representatives from the Pacific Symphony Class Act program, celebrating a year of creativity and artistic growth.
Vibrant Minds Showcase
Our largest celebration of learning is the Vibrant Minds Showcase, our annual Open House event. Families, community members, and guests from across our school community are invited to see our scholars’ projects, artwork, performances, and videos up close. The Showcase brings a full year of learning, creativity, and hard work to life, all in one celebration.

- Our Cheer Team has proudly performed at Angel Cheer Night at Angel Stadium, participated in community events, and marched in local Anaheim parades
- Through Vibrant Minds Productions, scholars create professional-quality photography, videos, graphic design, and other media that have been shared with schools, organizations, and community partners
One recent highlight: our Vibrant Minds Productions team created custom sports cards, and this video, for Chapman University Women’s Soccer’s senior night.
From stage performances and exhibitions to multimedia productions and community events, our scholars are encouraged to share their talents in meaningful ways while developing the confidence, communication, and creative skills that prepare them for future opportunities.
