Ms. Ashia Foard
Hello Everyone!
My name is Ashia Foard, and I am very excited to begin my third year as a member of the Vibrant Minds team! In the past I taught fifth grade at Vibrant Minds, and after some time away I am elated to be back in the classroom! I graduated from Biola University with a degree in Liberal Studies – Elementary Education, and teaching is my passion. I am thrilled to teach the first grade scholars, and I know that this will be a year of learning and fun!
We will encounter many “firsts” in first grade. This year a few of our goals are:
- Reading independently and fluently
- Expanding spelling and writing skills
- Developing number sense
- Learning more about our community and our planet
- And much more!
A few fun facts about me are that I love to spend time with my family, go to Disneyland, and cook! I also love to read and go to the beach.
