Mrs. Sarah Park
Hello! My name is Mrs. Park (formerly Ms. Kang), though some of my scholars like to call me Ms. Kangaroo or Ms. Candy Cane! I am one of our 4th grade teachers this year, and have been at VMCS since 2020. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working with every grade from TK through 6th, and I am especially excited to teach 4th grade this year!
I earned my B.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health and Human Performance from Biola University and am currently pursuing my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at Biola as well. Go Eagles!
Outside of teaching, I am a big fan of coffee and matcha. I love staying active through weightlifting or running, and I enjoy spending time with my family and eating good food. On a personal note, I recently got engaged — so this may be the last year scholars officially call me Ms. Kang!
I am beyond thrilled to be part of the 4th grade family this year. My hope is to create a classroom environment where every scholar feels loved, seen, and inspired to grow. I cannot wait to make this year both fun and memorable for all of us!
